Carnival Cruise Line’s Mardi Gras was “floated out” at the Meyer Turku shipyard in Finland in anticipation of its debut later this year.
Following the float out, Mardi Gras was repositioned to a new location at the yard to finalize its interior and exterior outfitting, including the installation of BOLT, the first roller coaster at sea in the coming weeks, part of the Ultimate Playground outdoor recreation area.

Travel advisors should get their sea legs ready because they’ll have more chances to spend time onboard Carnival ships in 2020. Carnival Cruise Line has increased the number of ship tours by 25% to 200 — covering all 27 ships in the fleet — and nearly doubled seminar at sea sailings to 17.

Carnival Valor will operate a pair of 15-day trans-Atlantic crossings next year – one departing Jan. 25, 2021, from New Orleans to Barcelona and another departing Feb. 26, 2021 from Barcelona to New Orleans.
The Jan. 25 departure includes day-long stops at Bermuda, Funchal (Madeira) Portugal, and Malaga and Valencia, Spain before arriving in Barcelona on Feb. 9, 2021.
Following its arrival in Barcelona, Carnival Valor will undergo a 17-day dry dock details of which will be announced in the coming months.
