Carnival Cruise Line Offers Special Discounts for Military Service Members in May – Carnival Cruise Line News

In honor of Military Appreciation Day, Carnival Cruise Line, the line that carries that most active and retired service members, is offering exclusive savings and special discounts throughout the month of May to members of the U.S. and Canadian Armed Forces.

The special Military Appreciation promotion, which provides up to $50 onboard credit per stateroom, a complimentary two-category upgrade and reduced deposits from $49 per person, can be combined with Carnival’s highly attractive Early Saver rates.

In addition, military members who qualify for the promotion can book up to two additional staterooms with the same bonuses and pricing. The promotion can be booked from May 22-31, 2019, and is applicable for a wide range of three- to 24-day sailings departing through 2021 from 20 North American homeports.

“Carnival is a longtime supporter of the military and carries the most service members of any cruise line,” said Christine Duffy, president of Carnival Cruise Line. “This promotion is just one way we show our appreciation to the brave men and women of the Armed Forces.”

Carnival hosts a military appreciation reception event every cruise as well, providing members of the Armed Forces the opportunity to connect with their fellow service members. The company provides special commemorative pins for military members every cruise to acknowledge their service, as well.

Carnival is also a proud partner of Operation Homefront, a national non-profit organization that builds strong, stable and secure military families to thrive in the communities they protect. Together, the organizations host a number of fundraising and awareness initiatives throughout the year.
