Carnival Cruise Line, Operation Homefront, Houston Texans Team Up to Surprise Military Family with the Gift of Fun – a Free Cruise from Galveston! – Carnival Cruise Line News

To celebrate and honor the brave men and women who serve our country, Carnival Cruise Line – the Official Cruise Line of the Houston Texans — and longtime partner Operation Homefront joined forces with Texans players Jon Weeks and Jacob Martin, to surprise a Houston military family with a fun-filled family vacation. The family has also been invited to attend the Texans annual Salute to Service game on Nov. 21 honoring military service members.

With Carnival carrying more active and retired military personnel than any other cruise operator and Weeks and Martin both coming from military families, the two NFL players were thrilled to surprise U.S. Coast Guard veteran Joshua Woodard and family with a free week-long Carnival cruise from Galveston.

Carnival Cruise Line is the number one cruise operator from Galveston with three year-round ships carrying 600,000 passengers annually.

Continuing its longstanding support of the military, Carnival is also making a $25,000 donation to Operation Homefront to help the organization continue its mission of building strong, stable, and secure military families.
