Carnival Vista has been named Best New Ship in Cruise Critic’s Editors’ Picks Awards, with the line earning Best-Value-For-Money for the third consecutive year.

Selected by Cruise Critic’s editorial team, the awards recognize cruise lines in a wide range of product- and service-related categories.

Carnival Vista earned Best New Ship honors for its many on-board innovations, including a groundbreaking bike-ride-in-the-sky aerial attraction called SkyRide, the first IMAX Theatre at sea, and the RedFrog Pub & Brewery, the first brewery on a North American-based cruise ship.  Carnival Vista entered service May 1 and, following a transatlantic crossing will operate a pair of 11-day sailings from New York in November before repositioning to Miami to launch year-round Caribbean service later that month.

Carnival was acknowledged for providing superior value to its guests through exciting on-board experiences like Guy’s Burger Joint and Guy’s Pig & Anchor Bar-B-Que Smokehouse, both

developed by Food Network star Guy Fieri, the BlueIguana Cantina Mexican eatery, Playlist Production shows, Punchliner Comedy Clubs and Hasbro, The Game Show featuring larger- than-life adaptations of the brand’s iconic games, all of which are available free of charge.
