Celebrity Cruises Grand Bahama Relief Efforts Electronic Press Kit
In the aftermath of Hurricane Dorian, Celebrity Cruises is rolling up its sleeves to help The Bahamas. The cruise line has activated its disaster relief operation alongside sister brand Royal Caribbean International to deliver relief supplies and 20,000 daily meals to the Grand Bahama Island community. Crewmembers onboard Celebrity Equinox prepared sandwiches, proteins with rice and fruits and snacks for the company’s third distribution. Over the next few days additional ships from the Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. fleet — Symphony of the Seas, Empress of the Seas and Mariner of the Seas — will repeat the process.
