Terry Riley of Forsyth, Ga., is the winner of Carnival Cruise Line’s 10th annual PokerPro Challenge held recently on Carnival Dream, capturing the top prize of $75,000 cash. Riley beat out more than 500 other entrants on board who competed in a series of Texas Hold’em card games utilizing state-of-the-art electronic PokerPro tables from Jackpot Digital.

The New Orleans-based Carnival Dream recently completed an extensive makeover that added a variety of exciting food and beverage concepts.
Following the renovation, which took place in Freeport, The Bahamas, the 130,000-ton ship yesterday resumed its year-round schedule of seven-day Caribbean cruises from the Big Easy.

Thanks to many good cruise line employment agencies, a lot of seamen dream had come true – working on large resort cruise ships and traveling to see the world, it is the most wonderful time in their lives!
