Carnival Fascination will undergo an extensive multi-million-dollar dry dock that will add a variety of popular food and beverage innovations, including Guy’s Burger Joint developed by Food Network star Guy Fieri, the cocktail pharmacy-themed Alchemy Bar, BlueIguana Cantina Mexican eatery, Cherry on Top sweets shop, the poolside RedFrog Rum Bar and BlueIguana Tequila Bar, and a Bonsai Sushi Express venue.
The spaces will be added during a two-week dry dock taking place Feb. 4-17, 2018, in Freeport, The Bahamas, prior to the ship resuming its year-round schedule of seven-day southern Caribbean …

Carnival Cruise Line and its agency partners MBooth and Mouton Media have received the “Award of Excellence” from the New Orleans chapter of the Public Relations Society of America for a “Lip Sync Battle” event featuring New Orleans Saints players and benefiting local charities.  The event was held aboard Carnival Dream while it docked at the Port of New Orleans.  The annual award recognizes memorable PR activations that generate superior media coverage while raising brand awareness and making an impact on the local community.

Building upon its position as the leader in Gulf Coast cruising, Carnival Cruise Line has announced it will expand capacity on its short cruise offerings from Galveston and New Orleans beginning in 2019.
Carnival Dream will launch four- and five-day cruises to Mexico year-round from Galveston beginning in May 2019, becoming the newest and largest Carnival ship to operate a short cruise program from that port and providing Texans with an exciting and convenient new vacation option.

The Grand Turk Cruise Center officially reopened yesterday with a visit from the Carnival Ecstasy, part of the ship’s seven-day voyage from Charleston.   The festivities included a shipboard reception with the Carnival Ecstasy’s officers, executives from Carnival Corporation and port and government officials.

Carnival Cruise Line hosted a Build-A-Bear Workshop event that provided more than 100 kids from Brevard, Fla.-area Boys & Girls Clubs with a day of fun aboard the Carnival Magic in Port Canaveral, Fla.
Coinciding with Build-A-Bear’s 20th Birthday, the event offered kids a chance to make their own cuddly bears that could be customized with a colorful Carnival T-shirt and other accessories. Each bear came with its own “birth certificate” and a special logoed drawstring bag for safe keeping.  Kids also enjoyed delicious bear-themed sweets and a pizza party along …

Three kids from the Texas 4H Club were awarded free cruises during an event at the State Fair of Texas hosted by Guy Fieri announcing his new Guy’s Pig & Anchor Bar-B-Que Smokehouse|Brewhouse restaurant that will be featured aboard the new Carnival Horizon when it debuts next spring.
