Carnival Panorama has been chosen as the name of Carnival Cruise Line’s new 133,500-ton ship scheduled to debut in fall 2019.
Carnival Panorama is the third in the line’s highly successful Vista-class series, which are all named to reflect the connection between the vessels and the sea and highlighted by stunning indoor/outdoor spaces that create a truly unique seagoing vacation experience.

Carnival Cruise Line is offering a special Black Friday promotion offering shipboard credits on top of the line’s already attractive rates.
The promotion includes “Dockbuster” deals with up to $50 per stateroom credit available for cruises booked between Friday, Nov. 25 and Sunday, Nov. 27, 2016.

Just in time for football season, Carnival Cruise Line – the Official Cruise Line of the Houston Texans – has rolled out a variety of fun Play 60 at Sea football-themed activities on its three Texas-based ships, Carnival Breeze, Carnival Liberty and Carnival Freedom.

Classification society Lloyd’s Register has bestowed the “ECO Notation” designation on the new Carnival Vista, marking the first Carnival Cruise Line ship to achieve this distinction. The notation recognizes that the cruise line designed, built and operates Carnival Vista in a manner that exceeds current maritime statutory environmental regulations.
Lloyd’s Register (LR) established a set of voluntary standards that vessels can seek to achieve that exceed regulations established by the International Maritime Organization and other national and international regulatory agencies. Vessels seeking the ECO Notation must comply with a set of …

Carnival Cruise Line announced today that Carnival Horizon will be the name of its new 133,500-ton ship scheduled to be delivered in March 2018.
Currently under construction at Fincantieri’s shipyard in Marghera, Italy, Carnival Horizon will be the line’s second Vista-class ship, with the namesake vessel in the series, Carnival Vista, having entered service in May 2016.

Christian Deese, a 10-year veteran of Carnival Cruise Line, has been named the company’s Volunteer of the Year, which acknowledges outstanding dedication and commitment to community service.
Deese was recognized for his role in Carnival’s employee service group, the “Friends Uniting Neighbors (F.U.N.) Earlier today at Fincantieri’s historic Castellammare shipyard located along Italy’s Sorrento peninsula, a launch ceremony was held for Carnival Cruise Line’s second Vista-class ship scheduled to enter service in spring 2018.  A video recap of the event can be viewed here (insert hyperlink).
