Carnival Foundation, in partnership with the Miami HEAT and Florida Prepaid College Foundation, presented 17 South Florida students with four-year college scholarships during halftime at last night’s HEAT game.
The students currently participate in the Carnival Scholarship & Mentoring Program, an innovative workplace program sponsored by Carnival and the Miami HEAT, in partnership with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Miami that pairs a student with an employee mentor from Carnival. High school soccer: Belton boys win Round Rock title; Wildcats lose to Round Rock; Tem-Cats cruise twice
ROUND ROCK – Tayron Martin, Tyler Pate and Luke Villamaria scored goals in a shootout and goalkeeper Carlo Mosnia made several key saves as the Belton boys soccer team beat Round Rock on Saturday in the championship game of the Round Rock ISD tournament.
